Absentia implements Annual leave accrual
Absentia has introduced a new system for annual leave accrual, simplifying how employees earn and manage their leave.
This new feature allows employees to accumulate leave over time, providing flexibility and ensuring they can take time off when needed without disrupting workflow.
What is annual leave accrual?
Annual leave accrual is a system where employees earn leave based on the amount of time they work. This means that the longer you work, the more leave you accumulate. Some companies give this system to prevent employees from taking all their leave at once and potentially leaving the company while owing the company working days.
How Absentia implements accrual
Enter settings in your Absentia account and select the 'Default allowance & carry over' section.
You will see an option called 'Accrue allowance' which you can check.
With this enabled Absentia will automatically calculate the allowance for each employee based on the position we are in the leave year. Your leave year is set when you first create your account but also also be changed on the same page.
